BLADES AND QUICKLY REPLACEABLE ROTORS

The rotors and cutters are of high-quality. The cutters are made from special alloyed steel which is

tough and wear-resistant and therefore have long service life.

The cutters are manufactured for the current condition of drive machines (tractors) and conditions

under which these machines should operate, such as:

-

working speed within the 0.6 to 1.0 m/s limits

-

section length within the 0.05 to 0.10 m limits, up to a maximum of 0.15 m, ensuring high-quality
soil  cultivation  depending  on  the  type  and  condition  of  the  soil,  and  the  humidity  and  use  of
cultivated land.

-

collision and vibration free operation, without overloading the tractor.

Figure 8. Left and right cutter

The cutters must be properly adjusted. If this
is  not  the  case,  wear  and  tear  quickly  occurs  and
reduces  the  work  quality.  Replace  any  cutters
extensively damaged during operation.
The  rotary  mower  is  shipped  with  properly
adjusted  cutters  on  the  rotor.  However,  if  the
cutters  have  to  be  attached  to  the  brackets  on-site,
proceed as follows.
Determine  which  cutters  are  left  and  which
are right (see Fig. 8). Proceed to attaching them to
the corresponding brackets. Each section has 2 left
and  2  right  cutters  (Fig.  9,  cutter  arrangement  on
rotor brackets).

DANGER:  Cutter  replacement  is  a

dangerous

operation,

exercise caution.

CAUTION:  In  order  not  to
damage  or  break  the  cutters,
limit the tractor speed to 6 to 8
kmph.

DANGER:

During

operation,

the

cutters  are  also  picking  up  stones  and
other foreign objects; therefore, remove
children  and  animals  from  the  work
area.
