Remote Control Manual - IPI
When the unit is turned on, the flame height is set to Hi for 20 seconds by default. After
20 seconds, the flame will revert to the setting prior to being turned off.
When the flame setting is at the lowest level (1), the flame indicator will blink on the
handset, the rear burner will turn off, and the front burner will default to the highest
setting. If the “+” button is pressed, the rear burner will turn on and the flame can
continue to be increased.
OPERATION DURING POWER OUTAGE
In the event of a power failure, the unit will be fully functional for the first 45 minutes
using the backup-battery system.
If power resumes within the first 45 minutes you can continue using the unit as normal.
If power is restored after 45 minutes you will need to reset the unit as follows;
a)
Remove the left side exterior brick panel.
b)
Hold the reset button for 3 to 5 seconds or until the LED stops blinking.
c)
Press and release the ON/OFF button once on the Remote Control.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
If the remote control does not turn on, check the batteries for replacement (2 x AAA
alkaline).
When the batteries are replaced, the current time and day will need to be reset.
