Step 4: Inserting the SIM card (model dependent)

Unlock the receiving drawer: Use your finger to press the
small "SIM unlock" button to the left of the drawer (see con-
nection diagrams for the W640 series on Page 13 and for the
W667 series on Page 15).

Pull out the drawer carefully.

Insert the SIM card. The contacts of the SIM card are facing
downwards.

Slide the receiving drawer back in until it clicks into place.
Step 5: Connecting peripherals

Connect the peripheral intended for the application.
The available interfaces show the connection diagrams
(Model series W640 see Page 13 / Model series W667 see
Page 15).
For detailed technical information on the interfaces and config-
uration, please refer to the configuration manual.
Damage to the device due to incorrect handling of the SIM
card!

Only insert the SIM card when the device is in a voltage-free
state.

Make sure that no SMS messages are stored on the SIM card
by inserting the card into a mobile phone.
Possible damage to the SIM card due to improper handling!

Do not touch the contacts on the SIM card.
Blocking of the SIM card if another SIM card was previously
used in the device!

First load a project with the PIN of the new SIM card into the
device to avoid blocking the new SIM card.
