configure router rip timers holddown
This command configures the global RIP hold down timers.
Hold down time is the interval in seconds during which routing information regarding better routes is suppressed.
This should be configured to be at least twice the value of the update timers.
Parameter Description
syntax:
[ no ] holddown time < n >
example:
Foundry-140/configure/router/rip/timers# holddown 200
This example configures the global RIP hold down timers to suppress information about routes for 200 seconds.
