Four Thirds
The aperture of the 35mm F1.4 ED AS IF UMC Four Thirds is not geared toward this camera.
If the f-stop is set to 4 or larger, you may not be able to focus correctly as you will have problems
seeing the subject through the viewfinder.
Therefore, focus the subject after attaching the lens to the camera with open aperture and then turn
the aperture ring in order to adjust to the desired depth of field and brightness.
1)
Keep the MODE button
pressed and turn the wheel
until it is set to M (shooting
conditions). MODE + setting
wheel => Selecting the M
mode (manual shot)
2)
Hold the AF button pressed
and turn the wheel until it is
set to MF (manual focus). AF +
selection wheel => adjustment
MF (manual focus)
3)
Adjust the shutter speed by turning the wheel to receive the
appropriate exposure time for the brightness.
* With some Four Thirds cameras, the exposure time is adjusted automatically when the camera
mode selection wheel is set to ‘A’. In this case you do not have to adjust the exposure time yourself,
which is necessary in the M mode.
