Barcode Reader 

 The barcode reader is a tool for reading both 1D and 2D barcodes found in many documents. 

Before activating this feature, position the document in the VSC, magnifying the barcode and adjusting the focus if necessary. Click the 
barcode reader icon to activate, and any barcode(s) should be highlighted. The barcode reader can read up to nine barcodes simultaneously. 
Each barcode will be highlighted in a different colour.
