WARNING:  Failure to align

hanging ball slot with hanging bracket

tab may result in serious personal

injury or death.

1. Remove the Clip (5B)

and Pin (5A) from
your Down Rod (5).
Save the Clip and the
Pin.

4. Thread the wires and

safety cable that
comes from the Motor
assembly through the
Down Rod.

2. Insert the Canopy (6)

and the Yoke Cover
(7) following the
drawing on the right.
Put this assembly
aside.

5. Insert the Down Rod into the Yoke making sure

that the wires are not twisted and aligning the
holes for the pin on the Down Rod with the
holes in the motor Yoke.   Insert Pin all the way
through and put the
Clip in place.  Secure
tightly the 2 Set Screws
and Nut.  Lower Yoke
Cover until it rests
on the Motor
Assembly.

3. Loosen the Set

Screw and Nut and
the Set Screw on
the Yoke. Take the
Clamp out from the
Safety Cable.

1. Using a step ladder lift the fan and using the

opening in the bracket, insert the hanging ball
part of the Down Rod into the bracket and let it
rest there.  Gently turn the Down Rod until

you see and feel that the ball slot engages

firmly with the hanging Bracket tab.

2. Find a secure place (preferably a joist) and

using a wood screw and washer (not supplied)
secure the safety cable to it.  Adjust the slack of
the safety cable using the clamp. (This step is

NOT required in the US, you can cut the safety
cable or just coil it around the canopy).
