When
shipped
at
the
factory,
both
switches
are
set
to
OFF.
Flip
the
#1
switch
to
the
ON
position
so
it
looks
like
this.
Open
the
back
of
the
remote
control
with
a
small
Phillips
screwdriver.
Locate
the
similar
switch
on
the
back.
Set
it
to
the
same
setting
as
the
switch
on
the
receiver
board
in
the
above
step.
(#1
switch
on).
Replace
back
of
remote
control
carefully
tightening
the
screws
so
you
don’t
strip
them.
Replace
the
battery.
Close
battery
door.
Remount
the
control
panel,
carefully
keeping
the
wires
in
place
and
not
letting
them
get
pinched
or
intrude
into
the
baffle
filter
area.
Turn
on
circuit
breaker
powering
this
unit.
If
you
did
the
following
steps
correctly,
the
remote
control
will
control
the
range
hood
and
you
will
no
longer
have
interference
from
another
source.
(You
may
have
to
change
frequencies
again
to
another
setting
if
this
does
not
solve
the
problem.)
Air
is
not
getting
sufficiently
pulled
into
range
hood
intake
and
exhausted
through
exhaust
duct:
Take
out
baffle
filters
and
check
fan
motor
inlet
grates
for
obstructions.
Check
outlet
vent
outside
house
to
make
sure
vent
door
is
opening
and
ducts
are
not
blocked
with
debris.
