AUTOMATIC CLIMATE
CONTROL
Note:
For general information on
climate control, please consult the
main handbook for your vehicle. This
section of the navigation handbook
only describes the unique climate
control functions integrated within
the unit.
For an overview of the climate control

(page 9). Buttons will
be referred to using the letters

Y
as denoted in the overview
diagram.
Climate button
Press button
M
to access the climate
touchscreen mode from any other
mode the navigation unit is in.
Touch the fan icon button to access
ventilation options.
Touch the thermometer icon button
to access temperature setting
options.
Touch the off button to turn climate
control off. This sets the blower
speed to zero, closes air outlets and
turns the air conditioning off.
Note:
The touchscreen buttons
allow a more detailed operation and
setup for climate options, however
most climate settings can be set via
the hard keys

Setting the temperature
Rotate the buttons
Q
and
K
for the
left and right hand sides of the vehicle
respectively.
Alternatively, you can also set the
temperature via the touchscreen:
1. Press the CLIMATE button
M
.
2. Touch the thermometer icon
button.
3. Adjust the temperature for the
desired part of your vehicle using
the arrow buttons.
Note:
For vehicles with triple-zone
climate control, you can change the
rear zone temperature only via the
touchscreen.
Mono mode
In mono mode, the temperature
settings for both the driver’s and
passenger’s side are linked. If you
adjust the temperature using the
rotary control on the driver’s side, the
settings will be adjusted to the same
setting on the passenger’s side. In
mono mode,
MONO
will appear in
the climate display. As long as MONO
is activated, any changes of the
temperature using the touchscreen
arrows will set the temperature for
the whole vehicle.

3. Touch the MONO button to turn
on or off.
