Backflushing Procedure for Dual Filter Cartridge
For better performance of your Forbes Designa, it is recommended to back
flush the Dual Filter Cartridge once in 15 days as following:
1.
Switch OFF the power supply, close the water supply to the unit and
bring it down (if it is wall mounted).
2.
Unscrew the 3/4” Nut and Nozzle along with the EVA pipe (Inlet
supply connection to the unit).
3.
Remove the Dual Filter Cartridge as shown in page 7.
4.
Push fit the Back flush adapter (supplied along with the unit) into
the 3/4” Nut and Nozzle and keep it aside.
5.
Now take out the removable top cover from the unit.
6.
Take out the lid from the Dual Filter Cartridge housing as shown in
the figure (page 7).
7.
Pull out the Dual Filter Cartridge with the help of hook, as shown in
the figure.
8.
Place the Dual Filter Cartridge onto the lid, in such a way that the
projection of the lid is inserted into the cartridge.
9.
Insert the Back-flushing adapter along with EVA pipe, hold it
vertically with one hand and open the water supply. The dirt/physical
impurities starts coming out from the cartridge along with the water.
Flush it for 5 minutes and close the water supply.
10. Pull out the Back flush adapter form the cartridge and fix it back
into the housing and fasten the lid onto the housing.
11. Unscrew the Back flush adapter from the 3/4 ” Nut and Nozzle and
connect the Nut and Nozzle back to the unit.
12. Hang the unit back onto the wall and start using it.
