MAINTENANCE AND CARE OF THE PUSHCHAIR
DISPOSAL OF THE BATTERY
• Contribute towards safeguarding the environment.
• The used battery must not be thrown away in the household waste.
• It can be disposed of at a centre for the collection of used batteries or for the disposal of special
waste; information may be obtained from the local council.
The battery must be charged and supervised only by adults.
Do not allow children to play with the battery.
It is not advisable to leave the pushchair in environments with temperatures below zero. If it
should be used without increasing the temperature to above zero, irreversible damage could be
caused to the motors and the batteries.
• Check the condition of the pushchair regularly, especially the electric system, the plug
connections, the protection caps and the battery charger. If any faults are found, the electric
pushchair and the battery charger must not be used.
• For repairs, use only original FOPPAPEDRETTI spare parts.
• FOPPAPEDRETTI cannot be held responsible if the electric system is tampered with.
• Do not leave the batteries or the pushchair close to sources of heat such as radiators, fireplaces,
etc.
• Protect the pushchair from water, rain, snow, etc.; use of the pushchair on sand or mud could
cause damage to pushbuttons, motors or the pushchair itself.
• The pushchair can be cleaned with a damp cloth and, if necessary, with non-abrasive products
for domestic use.
• The cleaning operations must only be carried out by an adult.
• Never remove any of the pushchair mechanisms or the motors.
STPES TO BE TAKEN IF THE PUSHCHAIR MOTOR DOESN’T WORK
• Check that the battery has been fitted correctly in its compartment on the chassis.
• Check that the ON/OFF switch has been moved to ON.
• Check that the parking brake has been released.
• Check, by pressing the motor start buttons, that the battery is charged. The LEDs should light up.
THE PUSHCHAIR HAS NO POWER
• Recharge the batteries. If the problem persists even after recharging, take the batteries and the
battery charger to be checked at a service centre.
