Effects Menu
The Effects Menu allows the user to adjust the effect duration for transitions as well as the type of transition to be
performed.

Wipe Type
To control the type of wipe transition select the Wipe Type menu item with the SEL key and then turn the adjustment
knob to select the desired transition. The transition types include cut, dissolve, curtain open, curtain close, mosaic,
wipe left, wipe right, wipe up, and wipe down where the wipe sweeps in the direction indicated (a right wipe proceeds
from left to right).
Edge Adj
To control the edge width of the transition, select the EDGE ADJ menu item with the SEL key and then turn the
adjustment knob to select the desired edge width in pixels. The possible selections are 2-32 pixels.
Trans Time
To control the duration of the transitions, select the Wipe Time menu item with the SEL key and then turn the
adjustment knob to select the desired transition time. The adjustment range is 0.0 to 5.0 seconds.
Trans Mode
At the start of a transition, the IMAGE may be frozen or a BLACK screen may be shown.
Freeze Mode
A displayed image may be temporarily frozen by setting this menu item to ON. Any front panel event will un-freeze
the image.
Miscellaneous Menu
The Miscellaneous Menu allows the user to change the configuration of the serial port, provides information for
access to factory technical support, allows the system to be completely reset to factory default values and provides
the user with a startup menu choice.

The RS-232 Port Menu allows the user to change serial port control parameters. The default settings are shown
