Apply Friction Paste to contact surfaces to handle bar clamp
(I), clamp cone (II) and fork steerer contact area (III). Please
do not use too much paste as this would decrease the
friction. Surfaces should have a „wet look“ without
noticeable color oft he paste.
1. Push compressor (together with black cap) into fork
steerer. Cap helps to position the compressor at the perfect
place.
2. Twist off black cap and tighten compressor with 8 Nm
torque. Take care compressor is centered in the steerer.
Upper end must be flush with steerer end.
3. Insert lower bearing. DO NOT USE GREASE!
4. Insert upper bearing. DO NOT USE GREASE!
