Connecting the TView Gold Card to an
IBM Compatible Portable Computer
This section describes the steps to connect your TView Gold Card to
a television or VCR. The following sections describe how to connect
to Portable IBM PC's.
Notes: 1. Before performing the steps to connect the TView
Gold Card to a portable computer, you must turn on the
external video connector. This is accomplished by using
a particular key sequence on the keyboard (for example,
FN + F11) or through the BIOS setup program. Refer to
your computer's owner's manual to determine how the
external video connector is turned on.
Perform the following steps to connect and install the TView
Gold Card to a Portable PC:
1.
Slide the TView Gold card into an available PC card slot.
Windows will recognize the TView Gold Card as a new
hardware device and start the Hardware install wizard.
Note: Using the top PC card slot will enable you to connect an
additional PC card device in the lower slot.
2.
Insert the installer disk into the floppy drive. When the Update
Device Driver Wizard appears, click next.
Note: If the Device Driver Wizard does not locate the installer
diskette, click on the "Back" button and try again.
