What happens if my FLX8000 clamps accidentally touch?
Please read all instructions and safety warnings before Jump starting your vehicle.
Connecting the metal teeth of the clamps would create a short circuit, which could result
in a spark and possibly damage your clamps.
What happens if I accidentally connect the FLX8000 clamps to the wrong battery termi-
nals?

Connecting the clamps to the wrong terminals could cause a reverse polarity and possi-
bly damage your clamps.

FLX8000 Jump Starters can be used on gas and diesel engines as follows:
Up to 3.5 liter gas engines/2.6 liter diesel engines*
*Engine size is approximate; power requirement will vary for each vehicle.
NOTE: Extreme cold temperatures affect battery performance. If you operate in these
conditions for any length of time, consider the next largest FLUXAMP Jump Starter.
