The FLUANCE®  LOW FREQUENCY POWERED SUBWOOFER is a virtually omnidirectional speaker, therefore it can
be installed in almost any location. The subwoofer’s deep bass performs best when it is installed in a comer or
near a wall. Since the low bass portion in audio is monaural, only one subwoofer is necessary to obtain a sufficient
low frequency effect.
This unit not only enhances the bass frequency response of sound output in your audio system, it improves the
overall system performance by reproducing the bass frequencies, permitting your existing amplifier and speakers
to operate under less strenuous conditions.
Super bass frequencies reproduced by this unit may cause a turntable to generate a howling
sound. In such a case, move this unit away from the turntable.

CAUTION

-An excessive input level to the subwoofer may impair the sound quality or damage the

unit. If you hear distortion coming from this unit, reduce the volume level. Extremely loud playing

of prerecorded bass heavy sounds can damage this speaker system.

ABOUT THE SUBWOOFER

IMPORTANT: To prevent any damages to the subwoofer, please carefully read and follow

  the instructions below.

CONNECTING THE SUBWOOFER

1.  Before connecting the subwoofer, be sure that the power switches of the amplifier and of the subwoofer are

in the OFF position.

2.  If the amplifier or receiver is equipped with a subwoofer pre-out jack, connect this to the LINE INPUT CON-

NECTION on the subwoofer using an RCA type pin-plug.

3.  If the amplifier or receiver is not equipped with a subwoofer pre-out jack, connect the left and right front

speaker level outputs from your component to the SPEAKER INPUTS on the subwoofer using speaker wire.

4.  When connecting the subwoofer to the amplifier, ALWAYS connect the "+" terminals to the "+" terminals

and the "–" terminals to the "–" terminals.

NOTE- If terminals are connected incorrectly, the amplifier may be damaged.
