Inserting/replacing the
batteries

Open the battery compartment

Insert 2 AA size batteries (LR06/Mignon) in the
battery compartment

. Ensure that the polarities
are correct according to the polarity markings on the
battery compartment and batteries.

Carefully close the battery compartment.
¾
The display

is switched on and the system time
starts at 0:00 hrs.

Installation
For the safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance,
the following requirements must be met at the installation
location:

The temperature of the water flowing through the
computer may not exceed 40°C.
¾
Minimum operating tempe5°C.
¾
Use only clean, fresh water.
¾
Connect the appliance vertically, with the hose
connection

at the bottom in order to prevent water
entering into the battery compartment

CAUTION!
The irrigation computer may only be
connected to a drinking water outlet with a protective
appliance that complies with at least type HD
according to EN 1717 (backflow preventer with pipe
ventilation).
NOTE:
Suitable adapters are available from
specialist shops.

Check the type of available water outlet. The
appliance is equipped with a union nut

for water
taps with a 33.3 mm thread (G 1”).
The adapter

is used to connect the appliance to
water taps with 26.5 mm thread (G

Insert the sieve

according to
the position shown in the picture on the fold-out page.

to the water tap manually. Do not use pliers.

Screw the union nut

onto the thread of the water
tap or the adapter manually. Do not use pliers.

Screw the
hose connector

Open the water tap.

If leaks/leakages occur when using the adapter

wrap some sealant tape around the thread of the
water tap.
