Slide the retaining washers onto the axle and  
ensure they lock into the forks.

Attach and fully tighten the wheel nuts.

Lift the front wheel off the ground and give it a 
spin to ensure it rotates without hinderance and 
is ‘true’.

Position the white front reflector to the right of the 

handlebar stem so that it points directly forwards 

and is within 5 degrees of the vertical. Attach the bell 

in the same manner to the left of the handlebar stem.

that it points directly backwards and 

is within 5 degrees of the vertical.
