5. Place the hard drive bracket into the system, and replace the hard drive bracket
screws (4x). The SATA data and power connectors on the hard drive should face the
rear of the system.
6. Connect the SATA data and power cables to the hard drive.
7. Replace the top cover and top cover screws (2x).
NOTE
After installation, you must format the hard drive in order to use it with the system. See 25.3

Removing the Hard Drive
CAUTION
Make sure that the system is OFF and ALL power adapters have been disconnected before removing/in-
stalling the hard drive.
1. Power off the system, and unplug all cabling from the system.
2. Remove the top panel screws (2x). Slide the top panel back and then lift to remove it
from the system.
3. Disconnect the SATA power and data cable from the hard drive(s).
