Discharge process
1.
Before starting the discharge process, verify that the compressor changeover is set to DISCHARGE.
2.
Switch on the PTO.
3.
Monitor the pressure gauge for the internal container pressure.
4.
To ensure optimum distribution, the discharge valve can be opened as of an internal container pressure of
at
least 0.3 bar
.
The internal pressure must not exceed 0.5 bar.
5.
When the discharge process is finished (tanker empty or change of field), the PTO (compressor) must be
switched off.
6.
Close the discharge valve.
If the tanker features a mechanical/hydraulic filling dome, it must only be opened once the
container is fully depressurised. Pressure gauge at 0 bar.
Optimum emptying can be ensured by raising the tank tipping cylinder.
9.9.3
Sprinkler nozzle (special equipment)
Fliegl vacuum tankers can not only be equipped with a compressor,
but also with a combination of compressor and centrifugal pump. In
this case, the compressor is primarily used to suck in the substrate,
while the centrifugal pump is responsible for the discharge process via
the sprinkler nozzle.

Operating the Garda pump
You use the control lever to select whether the compressor or
centrifugal pump is powered via the PTO.
The changeover must only take place when the PTO is stationary.

There must be no persons in the discharge area when using the sprinkler nozzle. Risk of injury!
The pivoting or upward/downward movement of the sprinkler nozzle is
performed via 2 hydraulic valves (tractor control unit or control block).
Please note that the sprinkler nozzle must not be moved under pressure
(up / down / swivel). Overloading the gear causes damage.
