Filling process
Suction process via quick coupler:
1.
Connect the suction hose to the quick coupler.
2.
Open the suction valve by hand.
3.
Switch the compressor to suction via the compressor changeover.
4.
Switch on the drive shaft.
(Be aware of the risk of entanglement on the rotating drive shaft!)
5.
Monitor the pressure gauge during filling. Negative pressure is generated in the container during this process.
Ensure that there are no leaks. The system (container, suction lines) must not aspirate
any external air during the filling process.
6.
Monitor the fill level indicator.
7.
When the noise emitted by the compressor changes, the ball of the siphon has closed the line between the
compressor and container. The tanker is now full.
8.
Switch off the drive shaft.
9.
Close the suction valve by hand.
10. Disconnect the hose from the quick coupler (operate the vent cock).
11. Switch the adjustment lever of the compressor changeover to centre position.
After a short wait, the pressure gauge shows a reading of
0 bar
.
12. Once the pressure gauge shows
0 bar
, set the lever to DISCHARGE.
Suction process via suction nozzle:
1.
Lower the suction nozzle and connect it to the docking station.
2.
Open the suction valve hydraulically or pneumatically (depending on tank type) via the control panel.
3.
Switch the compressor to suction via the compressor changeover.
4.
Switch on the drive shaft.
Check the compressor oil level before starting!
Verify that the oiler on the compressor is configured correctly.
9.
Close the suction valve hydraulically or pneumatically via the control panel.
10. Raise the suction nozzle. This disconnects it from the docking station.
11. Move the suction nozzle to transport position.
Suction process with turbo filler in combination with quick coupler or suction nozzle:
The turbo filler increases the filling speed during the suction process.
It is activated/deactivated via the hydraulic control of the tractor or via the hydraulic control block on the tanker.
Once the suction line is completely filled with slurry, the turbo filler should be switched on. The pressure gauge
(hydraulic pressure on turbo filler) should be monitored during this process.
With an optimum slurry flow, the hydraulic pressure on the turbo filler is
approx. 120 to 170 bar
.
If the tanker is full (fill level indicator at top or change of noise on compressor), the turbo filler must be switched off.
Note: When filling without the turbo filler, it can happen that the container is not completely filled.
This depends on the viscosity of the slurry as well as the atmospheric pressure.
Check the compressor oil level before starting!
Verify that the oiler on the compressor is
configured correctly.
