Error code Cause
➜ Remedy
001 The reflected laser beam is too intense.
➜ Do not aim at highly reflective surfaces;
if required cover (e.g. with paper).
002 Measurement range exceeded. ➜ Only carry
out measurements in a range from 0.2-30 m.
003 The target reflects the laser beam poorly.
➜ Aim at a different target; cover if necessary
(e.g. with white paper).
004 Temperature too high. ➜ Wait until the device
has reached operating temperature
(0 °C ... 40 °C).
005 Temperature is too low. ➜ Wait until the
device has reached operating temperature
(0 °C ... 40 °C).

Battery is too weak. ➜ Charge the battery.
007 Strong vibrations or quick movement while
taking the measurement. ➜ Do not move the
measuring instrument during use.
