Library or locomotive address mode:
Selected locomotive does not react
– Does the locomotive address in the library match the
address in the locomotive decoder?
– Has an emergency stop or selective emergency stop
been triggered?
– Select an address in locomotive address mode.
The Turnout reacts incorrectly or the turnout
setting does not match display
– Turn the plug or the leads on the turnout drive.
POM mode: Programming is confi rmed,
but the decoder does not react to an altered
value
– Decoder needs to be reset: Switch the track voltage off
and back on again using the “STOP“ key (emergency
stop). See the operating manual for the decoder.
The
multi
MAUS
cannot be reset (3.5., page
52)
– In this case, it helps to pull the plug and press the
shift key together with the “MENU” key when plug-
ging the cable back in.
– The
multi
MAUS
is reset completely to the fac-
tory settings.
Since this deletes the locomotive
library, you should make sure you are certain
you wish to take this step.
Scrolling in locomotive address mode is slow
or not possible at all
– There is a problem with the X-Bus. Switch the sys-
tem off and back on again. Check whether menu
item 3.3.2. is set to “automatic”. It is possible that
two devices have the same X-Bus address.
Connection of turnouts to the Fleischmann 6852 Receiver Module
1
. The
multi
MAUS
is capable of programming the CV‘s 1 through 255. However the adjustment (address,
output behaviour) of the 6852 receiver module (=decoder) is done by use of the CV 513 onwards, be-
cause the standards require the the area of CV512 onwards to be used for electrically operated acessories
(electro-magnetic operated articles such as point drives etc.). As a consequence, the
multi
MAUS
cannot
program the 6852 receiver module.
2
. If you have turnouts connected to the 6852 and operate them with the
multi
MAUS
, you will experience
an ‘address offset‘ by 4 numbers. With a brand-new 6852 having decoder address 3, you may switch the
turnouts no. 9 up to 12 (with the TWIN-CENTER or the PROFI-BOSS), whereas with the
multi
MAUS
now
there are the turnouts 13 through 16 to be switched. So you see that with the
multi
MAUS,
the addresses
are always higher by 4, compared to the addresses before.
3
. The outputs on the 6852 can be adjusted to impulse-, blink- or continuous operation in the CV‘s 515
up to CV 518. Independent on the settings, the
multi
MAUS
will always generate impulses only. The other
possible settings do not work.
The ROCOMOTION system controller also has numerous options which can also be used in conjunc-
tion with the
multi
MAUS
. For information on the ROCOMOTION consult your local dealer or visit
“www.roco.cc”.
