The roof fan does not need any special service. However, it is 
necessary to clean the fan impeller especially when the air is not 
clean. This helps to avoid vibrations in the impeller.
If there is an abnormal noise coming from the motor bearings, the 
motor and impeller or complete fan unit shall be replaced.

7.1 WARRANTy

Requirement for the warranty is that the installation is carried out 
properly and the necessary service actions have been made. If 
there are problems during the warranty period, the manufacturer 
or dealer has to be informed. Warranty does not cover any  
service or indirect costs.

7.2 SeRvICe

he electrical installations are allowed to be carried 

out only by authorized personnel.

Make sure that an opened fan cannot fall down.

7. SeRvICe

7.2.1  mAINTeNANCe, CleANINg OF The ImpelleR, 

mOTOR ANd FAN CASINg  

(uNINSulATed veRSIONS, SIzeS 225 - 630).

1.  Switch off the fan from the isolator and wait 5 minutes before 

starting the maintenance work.

2.  Open the fastening screws (4 pcs) so that the fan casing can 

be opened. The fan shall be locked to open position with stay 
fastener(s), figure 10 below.

3.  Check that the stay fastener(s) are locked and that the hinge 

bolts, the bottom plate and the installation frame are correctly 
fastened.

4.  Clean necessary components and the casing. Open the stay 

fastener(s) and let the fan carefully back to its operation  
position. Start the fan and check that the impeller is rotating  
without problems.

The casing can be cleaned from the inside also by removing  
the roof and the casing (fixed together) in the vertical discharge 
version, point 3.1.1.
Horizontal version can be cleaned by removing the cowl and the 
bird guards. point 3.1.3.
