Operation and Adjustments
Before using your Car Seat in the Toddler or Highback use mode in
your vehicle, you must assemble the Back Support (see “Assembly and
Removal of Back Support” section) and prepare the Car Seat Harness
Straps for your child (see “Changing Harness Strap Height” section).
11.1 Assembly and Removal of Back Support
To assemble Back Support:
• Place Car Seat on the floor or other
firm surface and loosen the Harness
so Back Support can lay flat behind
the seat base (see “Changing
Harness Strap Adjustment” section).
• Align both tabs on bottom of Back
Support with openings in back of the
seat base .
• Rotate Back Support forward to an
upright position pressing down
firmly on top of Back Support until you
hear a “click” and both tabs are fully
inserted into the openings and the
Back Support feels secure and stable .
• Check to be sure no parts of the Harness
Straps or Seat Pad are trapped between
the Back Support and the Seat Base .
