Assembly
• Being careful to keep the shocks correctly positioned,
align the hole in a shock with the hole in the handlebar.
Slide the remaining wheel axle with .437 cap nut
(assembled in step 14) through one shock.
Hint: If the hole in the shock and handlebar do not align,
the front fender is not properly seated on the front fork.
Reposition the front fender to align the holes.
• Fit a round bushing, barrel side first, onto the end of
the wheel axle.

• The shock sets are held together by rubber bands to aid
in assembly. After completing assembly step 53, remove
and throw away the rubber bands.
• Fit a shock assembly onto the end of a handlebar.
• Push firmly to slide the shock onto the handlebar making
sure that the tab on the inner shock half fits into the
groove in the fender.
• Repeat this procedure to slide the remaining shock on
the other handlebar.

• Position the vehicle upside down.
• Note the arrow on the underside of the front fender.
• Position the front fender so that the arrow points towards
the front of the vehicle. Slide the fender onto the ends of
the handlebars. Make sure the pegs on the front fender
slide over the tabs on the front fork.
