• Install the battery into the battery compartment (see step
2, page 19 in the Battery Installation section).
• Join the battery harness connector to the motor harness.
Push firmly to snap the connectors together.
Note:
If the motor harness connector will not fit into the
battery harness connector, turn it over and try again! Do
not force the motor harness connector into the battery
harness connector.
• Test to be sure you have assembled the power button
harness correctly.
• Press the power button. The vehicle should move forward.
• If the vehicle does not move, you have probably assem-
bled the power button harness incorrectly. Please re-read
assembly steps 1-7 and 24-25.
• Fit a handgrip on the end of each handlebar.
Hint:
If it is difficult to slide the handgrips onto the handle-
bars, moisten the inside of the handgrips with water.
• Fit the tab on the seat into the slot in the gas tank.
• Using a slotted screwdriver, turn the lock fastener

to prevent children from accessing the vehicle battery.
