• Place the Power Wheels
®
6 Volt (4.0 Amp/Hr.) battery in
the battery compartment. Make sure the battery connec-
tor extends toward the rear of the vehicle.
• Make sure a Power Wheels
®
25 amp fuse, in good condi-
tion, is installed in the battery.
• Fit one end of the battery clamp into the hole in the bat-
tery compartment.
• Insert the #8-18 x

screw through the end of the bat-
tery clamp and into the vehicle body. Tighten the screw
with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
Battery Installation

IMPORTANT!
Use only a Power Wheels 6 Volt (4.0 Amp/Hr.)
battery with a 25 amp fuse installed. Use of any other battery
or fuse will damage your vehicle. Make sure that you charge
the battery for at least 18 hours using the enclosed Power
Wheels
®
6 Volt (4.0 Amp/Hr.) charger before operating your
vehicle for the first time. Charge the battery for at least 14
hours after each use of the vehicle. Never charge the battery
longer than 30 hours. Failure to follow these instructions may
damage your battery and will void your warranty.
• To unlock the lock fastener, use a
slotted screwdriver to rotate the lock fastener

• Remove the seat from the vehicle.

• Join the battery connector to the
motor harness connector. Push
firmly to snap the connectors together.
Note:
If the motor harness connector will not plug into
the battery harness connector, turn it over and try again!
Do not force the motor harness connector into the battery
harness connector.
• Re-assemble the seat to the vehicle.
• Using a slotted screwdriver, turn the lock fastener

Keep the lock fastener locked at all times
to prevent children from accessing the battery.
