Using your ice maker
Ice maker
First use
When you first turn your refrigerator on, the ice maker will be off.
To turn on use the
button to scroll to the
screen.
Use
the
or buttons to turn the ice maker on or off.
Ice maker is on.
Ice maker is off.
If the bin is full, or inserted incorrectly the ice maker will not
operate. When inserted correctly the scoop will be on the right
hand side (refer to Fig.1 on page 10). If the bin is removed the ice
maker will not operate.
Discard the first bin of ice cubes.
We recommend that you turn the ice maker off if:
– The water supply is off for several hours,
– The ice storage bin is to be removed for a period of time,
– You are going on holiday/vacation.
Noises
The following sounds are normal:
– Motor operation (low humming).
–
Running
water.
– Water valve opening and closing (hissing sound).
– Ice being loosened from tray (cracking).
– Ice dropping into bin (clunking).
