CoaXPress® supported functionalities
The main functionalities offered by CoaXPress® and supported by the C-BLUE One camera are the
following:
CoaXPress® 2.0. This enables to reach the maximum frame offered by the sensor.
Mono8 and Mono12 pixels formats. Note that Mono10 is not supported.
One stream. The camera sends one image at the time.
CoaXPress® speeds:
o
Discovery rate: CXP-3
o
Operation rate: CXP-10
Heartbeat. A timestamp is sent regularly to enable synchronizing the PC time with the camera time.
Note that event messages are not supported by the camera.
Connection test uplink and downlink. This feature enables testing the CoaXPress links.
Power-over-CoaXPress
®
The camera can be powered by Power-over-CoaXPress
®
(PoCXP).
The available power is 13W per cable with 24V DC.
The two cables must be connected to the camera for PoCXP use.
If the LEMO® power connector is connected, PoCXP is automatically disabled on the camera.
The camera can shut down if the external power supply LEMO® connector is plugged
while using PoCXP.
Note: When the power LEMO® connector is not used, the camera remains turned off until the second
CoaXPress
®
cable is connected.
