10.4 CONVERTING TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF GAS
Important! To convert the unit to use with a different type of gas than
the one indicated on the initial settings label, three operations must be
performed:
1. The burner jets must be changed.
2. Minimum flame must be adjusted.
3. The old “initial settings” label removed and a new one put in its place.
These operations must be done carefully because the safety of the oven
depends on them.
10.4.1 Changing burner jets
Remove the plug from the mains panel and close the gas cut-off
valve. Open the burner cover. Remove the burner after having disconnected
the gas supply line and electric ignition cables. Unscrew the pipes of the
burner and then the jets, replacing them with correct type of jet for the gas
used. Repeat the above operations in reverse order to reassemble, making
sure to adequately tighten the jets and gas supply connection.
10.4.2 Minimum flame adjustment
Remove the right side cover.
Remove the plugs from pressure points A and B upstream and
downstream of the gas solenoid valve (Fig 10-3) and fit two fluid
manometers.
