To maintain the optimal performance of the
FireSales Neptune
, it should be properly maintained.
•
Make sure the fluid tank is clean at all times.
•
Clean the machine on a regular basis. You can clean the outside with a moist cloth and mild
detergent.
•
If you intend storing the
FireSales Neptune
for a longer time or at temperatures around
freezing (below 2˚C), you must drain all water from the device according to the following
procedure.
Draining the water:
1.
Connect an empty fire extinguisher (7).
2.
Connect the waterless hose to the water connection (5) and the other end to the air
connection (4).
3.
Switch the red handle water/air/off (9) to water.
4.
The rest of the water now drains into the fire extinguisher and the filling station can be
stored safely.
5.
Finally, empty the fire extinguisher completely, so no pressure remains. The fire extinguisher
can then be filled with the normal procedure with the next use.
