10 This fireplace will accept doors originally made for the earlier fireplace, the 44A. These doors are
identical except for the heat shield and glass attachment screws. The illustration below shows how
to identify doors and how to switch over 44A doors to fit the 44-Elite (if necessary).
Remove the four screws holding the glass in place on the left
door. Replace these screws with the set screws included with the
fireplace (do not over-tighten).
