IMPORTANT FINISHING DETAIL NOTES FOR 2" AND 4" FACEPLATES:
Before placing unit into fi nal position - it is important to know the total thickness / height of fi nished hearth. The base of the fi replace should be
level or higher than the fi nished hearth height.

If material such as brick, stone, etc extends past the faceplate depth (1-1/2"), when fi nishing around the faceplate, the minimum opening dimensions
noted below must be adhered to ensuring for the removal of the faceplate and for the safe operation of this appliance.
For material such as brick, stone, etc that extend up to 1-1/2" , the minimum opening dimensions noted below must be adhered, when fi nishing around
the 2" or 4" faceplate. This is to ensure the removal of the faceplate and for the safe operation of this appliance.
For facing/finishing material over 1-1/2” (38mm) thick, use the outer cut out for your
faceplate template.
