1. FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Gas torch for thermal work in the laboratory. Applicable for soldering and heating of metals
as well as for modelling and wax smoothening.
2. SAFETY INFORMATION
Keep your hands, your face and flammable materials away from the flame of the torch
during operation respectively during burning. Store the torch out of the reach of children.
Do not immerse hot parts of the torch in water. The torch should cool down unaffectedly.
Use the butane gas, which is recommended and specified by the manufacturer. Do not
use propane gas or other sorts of gases or flammable liquids. Do not store the torch and
the gas at temperatures above 40 °C
3. PROCESSING / INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 Ignition
Make sure that the ignition point is approx. 1cm above the gas outlet valve. Turn the knob
of the air regulator screw until you can hear gas discharging. Push the ignition button to
ignite the torch. To extinguish the torch you must firmly turn the air regulator screw
clockwise.
3.2 Regulation of flame
Turn the knob of the air regulator screw clockwise to reduce the discharge of gas. Thus
the intensity of the flame is reduced. Turning the knob of the air regulator screw in the
opposite direction will result in a stronger flame of the torch.
3.3 Refilling of gas tank
Place the torch upright and make sure that the flame has been extinguished. Wait until the
torch has completely cooled down before refilling gas. Keep the torch in an upright
position. Put the nozzle of the butane-gas-cartridge into the refilling nozzle of the torch.
Stop refilling of the torch as soon as gas spills from the tank of the torch. After refilling of
the torch with gas please wait a couple of minutes before igniting the torch so that the
refilled gas can stabilize.
3.4 Professional special application
The manufacturer determined the generally maximum intensity of the flame. Additionally
adjusting the special setting screw with a screwdriver can change the intensity of the
flame.
