Windows Vista user account control effective/ineffective setting.
In the initial state, Windows Vista sets “Effectiveness of User account control” to effective. In this case, a warning message may
display during setting. After clicking “Change”, the user account control menu will display.
Click “Continue” when display of “Continue with your permission”, and “Continue if you need the operation”.
User account control effectiveness setting positions.
Control panel > “Effectiveness of User Account Control” under User Account, and select “Use UAC, and protect computer”.

1. Start the Control panel.
2. In Category View, click “Add a device” of “Hardware and Sound”.
In Icon View, click “Devices and Printers”, and click “Add a device”.
3. Start new Bluetooth device wizard.
New device > display selection menu of computer new device.
4. Search Bluetooth device.
Select “FILCO Bluetooth Keyboard”, and click “Next”.
5. Add the pairing code to the new device.
After display of the pairing option menu, click “Create a pairing code for me”.
6. Exchange the pairing code of computer and device.
After inputting the pairing code by using the numeric keypad, press Enter.
Please input key within 30 sec.
[Reference] Input status will not be displayed while inputting the pairing
code.
7. After inputting the pairing code, the Bluetooth keyboard setup will start, and
please wait for a while. If the input is wrong, return to the last step, and input
a pairing code again.
8. The setting is finished when “This device has been successfully added to this
computer” is displayed on the device menu. Click “Close”.
9. Information of paired devices are recorded in the keyboard. After pairing has
been completed, power on the keyboard and press any key to enter Search
Mode. Pairing LED should blink and the keyboard automatically reconnects.
10. Use Control panel > View devices and printers > device for setting, and
confirm connection status.
