Installing User Software on a Windows Computer
The TCP/IP protocol should already be installed on the Windows 2000/XP
workstation.

You can also set up the LPR connection by installing Print Services for UNIX,
which is supplied as an add-on Windows component with your Windows 2000 CD.

1.
Open the Properties dialog box for the Fiery and click the Ports tab.

Click Add Port.

Select Standard TCP/IP Port for Available port types and click New Port.
4.
Click Next.
The Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard dialog box appears.
5.
Enter the IP address of the Fiery.
6.
Click Next.
The device will be detected automatically.
7.
Click Finish to close the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard dialog box, and click
Close in the Printer Ports dialog box.
