FP-AI-100

8-Channel, 12-Bit Analog Input Module

These operating instructions describe the installation, features, and 
characteristics of the FP-AI-100. For more information about 
configuring and accessing the FP-AI-100 over a network, refer to 
the user manual for the particular FieldPoint network module you 
are using with the FP-AI-100.

Features

The FP-AI-100 is a FieldPoint analog input module with the 
following features:

Eight analog voltage or current input channels

11 input ranges: ±15 V, ±5 V, ±1 V, 0–15 V, 0–5 V, 0–1 V, 
±20 mA, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, 0–30 V, ±30 V

12-bit resolution

Hot plug and play operation

2,500 Vrms input-to-output isolation

Double insulated for 250 V safe working voltage

–40 to +70 °C operation

Installation

The FP-AI-100 mounts on a FieldPoint terminal base (FP-TB-xx
unit. Because of its hot plug and play operation, you can install the 
FP-AI-100 onto a powered terminal base without disturbing the 
operation of other modules or terminal bases. The FP-AI-100 
receives operating power from the terminal base.
