3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Safety instructions
Read carefully!

 

CAUTION:

 The machine may become a dangerous tool if used incorrectly or inconsistently with the safety 

rules. To make sure your work is pleasant and safe, always strictly follow the safety rules specifi ed in this 
user’s manual.

 

ATTENTION!

 The ignition system in the unit creates electromagnetic fi eld of very low intensity. This fi eld 

may interfere with some pacemakers. In order to reduce the risk of serious or deadly injuries, people with 
pacemakers should consult with their doctor and the manufacturer before operating the machine.

 

CAUTION:

 National legal regulations may limit the machine usage.

  Do not use the machine until you get fully familiar with the operation. Before using the pump, the user must 

fully understand the operation and all machine controls.

  The machine may only be operated by adults in a good physical condition who have read and fully 

understood the user’s manual.

  Never use the machine if you are tired or under the infl uence of alcohol, drugs or medicaments.
  Always use personal protective equipment while working, namely gloves, working clothes, protective glasses 

and hearing protection.

  Do not allow other persons or animals to stay within the machine working range during start-up and 

operation (fi g.1).

  Place the machine in a stable position (fi g.2).
  Do not perform maintenance while the engine is in operation.
  Inspect the machine on a daily basis, making sure that all safety and other devices work correctly.
  Do not work with the machine if damaged, poorly repaired, incorrectly assembled or modifi ed. Do not 

remove and/or override the safety devices.

  Use the machine in well-ventilated areas only. Do not work with the water pump in explosive or combustible 

environment. Do not use the pump in enclosed areas or in the vicinity of combustible substances.

  It’s forbidden to connect an impeller other than supplied by the manufacturer to the machine power take-off 

shaft.

  If the machine is no longer to be used, do not discard it in household waste but return it to your dealer or 

waste recycling centre instead for environmentally-friendly disposal.

  Please hand over / lend the machine only to skilled persons familiar with its operation and correct use. 

Please make sure that even those people are provided with the user’s manual so that they can get familiar 
with the correct use of the pump before operation. 

  Please store this user’s manual in a way that it’s always at hand when needed.
  Please keep the warning labels placed on the machine to warn the operator of a danger in a legible 

condition. Replace the labels for new ones if damaged.

  Never start the machine without the impeller in place. This will lead to serious damage of the engine parts, 

rendering the warranty void.

  Do not use the machine in the vicinity of electric equipment and power lines.
  Do not tap on / apply force to the impeller blades, never work with a damaged impeller.
