Installation of Sensus FPA
4.1
Installing the Modules into the Sensus Chassis
All modules are anchored to the chassis by the backplane connection point and two small
spikes in the chassis. To install the patching modules:
1.
Insert the management module into the designated middle slot (slot 2)
2.
Push the management module all the way back until it snaps into place. The patching
module should make complete contact with the backplane
3.
Insert the patching modules into the designated left or right slot (slots 1 and 3). Guide pins
on the bottom interior of the chassis should line up with the guides on the bottom of the
patching modules. Patching modules should also make complete contact with the
backplane
Sensus patching modules are hot-swappable. To remove a patching module, simply pull it out
of the chassis.
