Fuses
9.7.1
12 V fuses
The appliances connected to the 12 V power supply in the living area are
fused individually. The fuses are accessible at different positions in the
vehicle.
An intact 12 V fuse can be detected by the unbroken fuse element (Fig. 72,1).
If the fuse element is broken (Fig. 72,2), change the fuse.
Before changing fuses, take the function, value and colour of the relevant
fuses from the following specifications. When changing fuses, only use flat
fuses with the values shown below.
Fuses on the starter
battery
The fuses are installed in the vicinity of the starter battery. The starter battery
is on the floor between the seats in the driver's cabin and can be accessed
under a cover.

Only replace defective fuses when the cause of the defect is known and
has been remedied.

Replace defective fuses only after the power supply has been turned off.
X
Never bridge or repair fuses.
X
Only replace faulty fuses with a new fuse with the same rating.
