Do not use solvent, abrasive or acid detergents on the equipment!
1.
Disconnect the contact grill from the power supply.
2.
In order to clean incrusted leftovers on the plate, use an adequate glass ceramic scraper.
3.
Clean the plates and metallic parts with a soft humid cloth with a mild liquid detergent.
4.
Clean and dry the equipment with a dry cloth.
6. Maintenance
Only suitably qualified and competent persons may install and repair the contact grill. Repairs and
other work by unqualified persons are dangerous and the manufacturer will not be held liable for
any resulting damage.
Installation and repair works must strictly comply with current local and national safety regulations.
6.1.
Adjust the buffer of the lid
In order to adjust the buffer of the lid movement, regulate the screw on the back side of the equipment,
in the support of the arms. In case the glass ceramic plate is damaged, do not substitute it on your own.
Send the equipment to the manufacturer or an authorized agent.
6.2.
Substitute the power cable
The cable can only be substituted by the manufacturer, authorized dealers or officially qualified
technicians.
Models with power until 1.5 kW: Substitute the cable with a cable H05RN-F 3G 1mm

Models with power above 1.5 kW: cable H07RN-F 3G 1.5 mm

In the United States and Canada, the cable has to be a cable SJTO - 14WG PVC 105ºC.
6.3.
Resetting the equipment
The contact grill has a manual rearm safety thermostat, which completely turns off the grill in case of a
malfunction in the temperature control system. In order to rearm the thermostat, press the rest button
on the back of the equipment.
