This bed rail is ONLY suitable for a fl at bed! Please note that this item should ONLY be
assembled by adults.
1. Keep all packaging materials and small parts away from children and animals. Danger of
suffocation!
2. Never leave your children unsupervised when the bed rail is being used.
3. Do not use the bed rail for carrying objects. It is designed ONLY to be used for preventing
children from falling out of the bed when sleeping.
4. Keep moving parts away from children while folding, unfolding or adjusting the bed rail.
5. Do not use the bed rail if parts are missing or damaged.
6. The bedguard should be periodically checked for its general condition with particular
reference to the security of any locking mechanism and/or hinges that are used on the
product.
7. Never place hot, sharp or pointed objects on the surface of the bed rail.

For safety reasons and in order to guarantee your child‘s safety, the following guidelines must be
strictly followed:
• The bedguard is not recommended for use by children under the age of 18 months or when the
child is over the age of 5 years.
• The bedguard is used only when the child is able to climb in and out of bed unaided.
• The bedguard should not be used as a substitute for a cot, as it cannot provide the same level
of safety.
When using, the following guidelines must be strictly followed:
• Do not use the bed safety guard as a replacement for a bed as it does not provide the same
safety.
• It must lay closely to the mattress once the safety guard is locked or completely assembled.
• The safety guard must not be used if it is not properly secured and safely attached to the side
of the mattress.
• After assembling, it must be checked whether the guard is tightly secured and in the proper
position.
• Regularly check the safety guard‘s condition, especially the safety of the locking mechanism
and the joints.
The bed must meet the following requirements:
• The bed must be fl at.
• Fit the bedguard so that its side,when in the locked position or when placed in the fi tted
position,touches the side of the mattress.
