Fitting the modules
1. Switch off the compressed air supply and operating voltage
supply.
2. If necessary unlock the safety catches and remove any
blank panels.
3. Take hold of the front plate of the module and slide it into
the guide rail. Be careful not to tilt the module when you are
sliding it into the slot, and make sure that none of the com-
ponents on the board are damaged.
4. Make sure that the pins on the connectors are correctly
aligned. Then with a light pressure of the fingers push the
module fully home. The safety catches will then lock auto-
matically (see diagram).
