In case the customer uses a shielded cable: The cable shield is
connected to the earth of the sensor. The shield of the accessory
cables is connected to the knurled nut and therefore the sensor earth.
The earth cables can be extended or shortened without problems. Only
shielded and low-capacity cables must be used for extending. The
shield must also be properly connected.
