Note
Excessive impact energy will damage the
cushioning mechanism.
S
Please observe the following sequences:
a) The intermediate position is approached
from the retracted end position of the
HMPL-... . The intermediate position cy-
linder must reach its end position, be-
fore the extending movement of the
HMPL-... is started. The end position of
the intermediate position cylindercan be
interrogated in the grooves
9
. The ex-
tending speed of the intermediate posi-
tion cylinder must not be restricted.
b) The intermediate position is approa-
ched from the extended end position of
the HMPL-... . (The intermediate position
cylinder moves in the extending direc-
tion).
The extending speed of the interme-
diate position cylinder must be set as a
factor of the work load mass (diagrams
see chapter “Characteristic curves”).
Please note
Incorrect operating pressures can lead to an unstable position of the intermediate
setting.
S
Make sure that the operating pressure of the intermediate position cylinder
is
higher or equal to
the operating pressure of the HMPL-... .
Otherwise, the force of the linear module is greater during cushioning and
will result briefly in the intermediate position being passed.
Setting an intermediate position
S
Adjust the positioning element with the aid of the operating instructions sup-
plied with the positioning element type YSRWJ-... .
