Make sure that:
nobody can place his/her hand between
the gripper fingers
there are no objects between the gripper
fingers.
When modifying the work load mass:

Observe the maximum permitted gripper
loadings.

Take into account the maximum permitted
gripping force.

Avoid the HGP−... coming into contact with
the following:
corrosion−causig coolants
grinding dust
glowing sparks or shavings.
This will damage the HGP−... (without dust
seal). Der HGP−...−SSK (with dust seal) has an
increased protection rating of IP 54. The
gripper can be used commensurately to this
protection rating.

Grease the HGP−... after 10 million switching cycles.
Permitted greases see Accessories".

If the HGP−... is dirty, clean the exterior with a soft cloth.
Permitted cleaning agents soap suds, max. + 60
