• Push the pinion into the housing.
• Check the position of the gear racks again and correct if necessary.
• Check whether the pinion can rotate by 180° without protrusion of the
piston.
• Insert the new retaining ring into the pinion.
Note
Check that the retaining ring is correctly positioned.
• Push the covers into the guides.
Note
Check the position of the cylindrical dowel pin in the housing when inserting
the flange.
• Push the flange into the pinion.
• Screw the socket head screws into the housing through the flange and
tighten them using the appropriate torque (see table).
