• Screw the stop screws into the impact plate.
Note
The stop screws are adjusted during the test run.
• Tighten the two threaded pins in the impact plate using the appropriate
torque (see table).

• Push the compression springs into position in the impact plate.
Note
The compression spring is required to release the spacing bolt when with-
drawing the piston from the impact plate.
The spring stops the spacing bolt sticking to the impact plate, which would
prevent the sensor at this location registering any movement.
• Insert the impact plate into the housing.
Note
Tightening the socket head screws on one side can result in twisting of the
impact plate.
• Steadily screw the socket head screws into the impact plate, but do not
tighten them yet.
