Stirrer

An agitator for homogenization is used as mixing device in the waste water tank VA1. The stirrer may only be
operated in the medium. For this reason, the tank must be filled with a liquid medium before the stirrer is
operated. The stirrer (propeller stirrer) generates an axial flow with a strong circulation effect. With it, the
rotational flow around the stirring axis is low. The mixing is therefore carried out mainly through the vertical
circulation.

Figure 8: Stirrer

Figure 9: Motor controller

The motor of the agitator is binary-controlled by a motor controller. The speed of the stirrer motor can be
adjusted on the motor controller using an adjusting screw.

Warning of accidental retraction!

There is a draw-in point at the rotating stirring staff or motor coupling and thus a
risk of injury. Please do not touch the rotating parts during operation.
